John 3:16
That God LOVED the world so much that He gave His One and Only
Son, Jesus to suffer excrutiating pain and die on the cross for US. This
is why: so that no one should be destroyed. By believing in Him and
confessing with our mouth, Jesus is Lord, you will have a whole and
everlasting life.
God didn't go through the pain of sending his son to point an accusing
finger at us - telling us how bad we are. He sent his son to help, to put
the world right again. To show us it is not what we try to do - it is what
he already did for us. Anyone who trusts in him is free, anyone who
refuses to trust in him has long since been under the death sentence
without fully understanding and knowing it.
